Tomintoul Gallery

Jane Lannagan is the artist in residence at Tomintoul Gallery which is situated just off the Square in Tomintoul, gateway to the new Cairngorms National Park. Jane's batik art displays a wide range of images from Scottish and European landscapes, local scenes of Glenlivet and Upper Banffshire and figure and animal art. Works by other artists in watercolour, oils and ceramics are displayed . Jane also creates art on ceramic tiles, plates and bowls through the medium of ceramic painting which is kiln-fired inhouse.

Commissions are taken for batik and ceramic art and cover a wide range of subjects - courses are available in both subjects. Picture framing equipment with a large selection of frames and mounts are inhouse and prints of Jane's work are available together with other prints of a countryside nature. Scottish crafts are a feature of this Gallery with attractive turned wooden and copper bowls and other smaller gift items in raku and porcelain.

The visitor to this Gallery will enjoy the warm and welcoming atmosphere, the wide range of art on display and the personal assistance of the artist herself when she is in the Gallery.
