The The Old Fire Station Tea Room is the perfect place to take a break in Tomintoul, conveniently located next to the main coach and car park.
Tastefully renovated over two years from a condemned derelict building, it opened it's doors in June 2005. We offer customers soup and a roll, pancakes with bacon or maple syrup, daily baked scones, bacon rolls, various homebakes, locally made ice creams (including whisky ice cream), tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juices and more. Seating inside or, on sunny days, outside on the terrace with views of the surrounding hills. Open 9am to 5pm all year.
During winter there is both under floor heating and a log-burning stove, to add to the warm welcome from the friendly and efficient staff, who are willing to help with local information if required. High chair available for younger visitors. Toilets available, including disabled facilities. |
