The Tomintoul Adventure Playground has a range of equipment located in a woodland setting, with a chipped wood safety surface beneath and surrounding the whole play area.
The playground has balance beams, balance walk, chain walk, ‘The Ledge’, climbing faces, intertwined logs, a burma bridge, a webnet, a twin balance beam, some swinging steps, a clatter bridge, a striding stilt log walk, a rocking log, shuffle bars, a mini suspension bridge and an aerial runway.
A small hide is also situated in the woodland adjacent to the playground. Access paths to the playground and up to the edge of the safety surface are suitable for all abilities and wheelchair use, though some wheelchair users might find difficulty gaining access to the play equipment itself across the woodchip safety surface.
Car parking is available at the Estate Office and Information Centre nearby. |
